Thanks for everything Milt
Milt Brown is retiring after a hugely successful 40+ year career in the car business!
Milt grew up in Haxtun Colorado and started his car career in Sterling, CO at the local Datsun dealership after graduating from Northeastern Junior College with a degree in Marketing.
On September 11, 1977 Lee Yoder hired Milt as a manager for Garnsey & Wheeler Ford in downtown Greeley. Lee remembers that he actually missed his first day of work because he wasn’t done setting up his new home in Greeley! But Milt ended up being an amazing manager and worked for a few decades at Garnsey & Wheeler as a sales manager, used car manager, and new car manager.
In 2010 the new vehicle manager position at Weld County Garage GMC became available and long-time friend and coworker Dan O’Leary asked management to interview Milt for the position. After landing the job Milt excelled as a new car manager leading Weld County Garage through some of the most successful new car years in the dealership’s history. After 12 years with the company, Milt decided it was time to retire and spend more time with his family.
Milt has been married to his beautiful wife Nancy for 42 years and has two adult children Keaton and Sharnay. Outside of his career, Milt has always enjoyed time with his family, working in his yard, skiing and biking. We hope Milt now has all the time he wants to enjoy all this and more.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication Milt!
